Fabtech Spindle Lift

I talked to Off Road Wherehouse, a place by my house in San Diego and decided to go with the Fabtech Spindle Lift and 2" blocks in the back and some 33's on American Racing rims. I havent decided weather or not to change the gears yet, but I'm leaning towards yes........ Whats your imput???? Ive herd that this kit is better than the Procomp, and I'm not trying to imply anything ot bash anyone but It's just what I have herd. Installed they quoted 1095 + rims and tires, around 1400 for american racing nito's chrome and pro comp 33 At's. So about 2500 they said out the door.

That seems pretty fair... I got my Fabtech 3.5" Spindle Lift kit for about $750 but did the install myself. It's a great kit and I'm very happy with the results. Then I went with AR Atlas wheels with Procomp 315/75/16 AT's (35's) and that was $1,500 out the door, including mounting, balancing and tax. Again, I'm very happy with the wheels and the Procomp tires. As far as re-gearing, I did not notice that much of a power loss, and I have the 4.6L V8. Now don't get me wrong, you can tell a difference, but not enough for me to justify spending $600 or so to re-gear. I'd rather spend that money on an exhaust and air intake.

Well, I fit the 35's not just with the Fabtech lift (and yes, I have 2" blocks in the rear), but I had also done a 3" body lift several months before. So basically, I have a 2wd with 6.5" of total lift - 3" body and 3.5" spindle. That's how I fit the 35's. If you just do the spindle lift, then I think 33's are the largest you can go, but that will still look good.

No pics online yet... soon. The 3" body lift was $550 installed. The kit was $150 and the labor was $400.

Body lift is by Performance Accessories. Don't have any experience with Nitto tires.
