Newbie: Want to level truck stance??

I just bought a 2002 Supercrew, and I'm not going to mess with the suspension for right now; however I would like to lower the rear a tad to be level with the front. What would be the easiest way to do this??
Thanks,
Marc

Is your truck 2x or 4x. If it is 2x you probably don't have a cheap solution. If 4x, then crank up the torsion bars a little and have an alignment done. Its free except for the alignment.

2x4's have a really really cheap option. Less than $50 will get you a new rear shackle that will lower the rear 2" and pretty much make the truck level. Any Pep-Boys, Auto Zone, Orylies (sp?) or any other vehicle shop should have them. Its still a faily easy install, no allignment needed.

I think the only thing you would have to look for is like Ford-97+ 2" drop shakle. They probley make them for all fords, chevy's, dodges, but should be failry universal if it say's Ford F-150, 97 and up.

I'm the only one that offered advise within the guidelines you specified and you get upset??? Very peculiar

If you use drop shackles or crank the torsion bars, you're messing with the suspension.

I don't think I can answer your questions anymore if you're not going to be serious

don't lower the back raise the front. 2 wheel drive get a lift spndle if it is a 4x4 just crank the torsion bars all the way up.
