I am looking to replace my current set of shocks. The truck I have is a 1992 F-150 Extended Cab 4x4, with a 351 ci engine. I use the truck for general travel, as well as towing a 5000lb travel trailer. Last fall I installed a superchip, K&N filter and a set of Firestone air riders. The shocks that I have been looking at locally are the Monroe Ultra Rider Gas AT Heavy Duty shock and the Gabriel GasRider LT shock. Appreciate any comments you might have on these shocks. These are reasonably priced, however, would be interested if anyone is aware of other better options.
