Question about shackles....

I've had my shackles on for about 3 weeks now.

My main question is the placement of the shackle. I wasn't sure on which way the plate is supposed to face... front or back.

SO... I installed one with the plate facing the front of the truck and one facing the rear so I only have to swap one around.

Which way is it supposed to face????

both of my stock shackles had the plate facing the front of the truck. wouldn't you think that this is the way they should be placed?

Talley,

My stock shackles were positioned with the plates toward the back...that's how I installed the drop shackles too.
