Lowering question - Leaf Springs

Whated to know if anyone is running the lowering leaf spring on the back of there F150 instead of shackle/hanger. I want to drop mine 3" all the way around I found some 3" leafs that they say will do just that. Can't find a combo in shackle/hanger that will just 3" on the rear.
Thanks

I lowered my truck 3" in the rear using shackle and hanger kit. You're right, they are mostly 4" kits, but by drilling new holes in the shackle 1" below the original holes, it will lower the truck just 3". Working fine, haven't had any problems whatsoever. Just thought I'd give you this info as an option for you to consider.

I have Roush 3 1/2 rear springs. I do believe it's a great way to go. The big plus to springs is you don’t need to put shims in since you don’t have to replace the shackle/hangers and removing the rivets are really a pain. The only thing is the U bolts MUST be tight, then a little tighter. My axel slipped when I first put them on.

I first put Bell Tech shagels on mine and latter went to Roush. Also the Bell tech kit has 2 adjustment holes, which made mine ride 3 1/2 and 4 in the back.

My only advice is to get all the info an do it once. I can't seen to grasp the concept.

Smile drop suggestion

I installed a western chassis setup with hangers and shackles and that system lets you drop the rear 3,4, or 5 inches. Maybe worth checking out if you want 3" then if you want more you can.

Thanks for the input I'll check that out. You know the picture in my head may not be as low as I want it.

Just installed Belltech 4" drop leaf springs, install was very simple. No rivets to knock out!
