Question Grease fittings and repacking Bearings

I can only find one grease fitting on the front end of my Exp. It is on the idler arm. Can anyone find any others?

Also, my maintenance schedule doesn't call for re-packing the front wheel bearings until 60k miles. I've never gone that long on any previous vehicles. Any comments?

I have only one grease (ZERK) fitting on 2002 F-150 SC also on the idler arm. It's pretty pathetic that there is only one fitting. It seems that Ford want to prematurely sell us a bunch of suspension components!

I've noticed that the maintenance manual says to grease the suspension components at 15K. How the ******* do we do this without any grease fittings, Ford?????

Number of Fittings

Mine has two fittings on the Idler Arm. On top of one end and on the bottom of the other. Top fitting is extremely hard to get grease into. I was starting to get a clunk in the front end and lubed mine at 15,000 miles. From the amount of grease they took, I felt they were dry from the factory. Let me know if any of you find a second fitting.

FYI, u-joints etc. can be greased even if they don't have zirks, they just don't recommend it . Once I hit about 75,000 miles I plan on replacing all my u-joints and so forth anyways.
Also, you guys talk about repacking bearings, but how the heck can you? There non serviceable as well.

I believe that repacking the front wheel bearings is a recommended service on 4X2's only.

2 fittings

There were two fittings total, both on the idler arm. While I would rather be able to grease all of the parts, I must say my '93 F150 had "lubed for life" sealed ball joints and they are still going strong after 210,000 miles. Thanks for the input.
