Stearing Stabilizer question

I just recieved my Rancho rs5000 stabilizer (I haven't put it on yet) and I wanted to get any feedback good or bad from the f150online population!

do you like it/hate it?

I have one and it is awesome, made it ride so much better with the big tires. It is probably some of the best money i have spent on my truck.

AT what point, tire size wise, does a steering stabilizer become worth while?

Would it be worth putting one on a stock "Off Road Package" with 265/70R17 31.8" tires?

i dont think its neessary unless youre running a tire equivalent to a 31" tire or larger. i have that same rancho unit, and i LOVE it! its definitely a must-do for trucks with large tires.

I have RS9000 shocks and an RS5000 stabilizer with 33" Goodyear MTRs. No problems and rolls along smoothly. I didn't notice much till I hit a deep rut on a dried mud trail. Very little feedback into steering wheel. This was what I purchased it for. Now I can cruise the trails on the hunting property and not get beaten to death by ruts, and rough conditions.

Would I buy it again, YUP.

Thanks for the replies! I will also learn to spell Steering correctly!

My new tires equal about 30.5" I bought the stabilizer more for wind buffeting on the highway. My truck wanders a little more than I like it to. (Yes I have had it checked out and even got a new idler)

Any hints on installation? Rancho just sent me the bracket kit because they forgot it on the first shippment!

Again, thanks!
