Smile

I did mine this weekend and you have to drill holes in the fender lip, inside the rear wheel well...
1/4" bit If I am not mistaken..

I had the Gap Guards from PA though....
Lift Lips might be a little different..

Post gave up on mine for now

I also had the gap guards, and on the back, I don't know if they gave me the wrong ones or not, but to get mine to fit, I had to trim the rubber stuff. looks like they were meant for a long bed. I started mounting them, and made a bad cut, needless to say that side piece is gone. you are probably looking a strip of metal about 1\8 of an inch thick, and about 1\2 tall. It is the lowest part of the bed. If you look, you can see the welds. hope this helps.chris

Dont worry about it Chris, cause my rear ones were exactly the same as you described..
Seems like the peeps at PA have something twisted up theyre
@$$.
They seriously screwed up with me, 3 times now..
I had to cut my rear gap guards to fit also, and fortunately I cut them properly.. But it looked like they werent even made for this truck.. Bunch of Dinks over there.!!!!

If anyone has steering column problems, call PA cause they had a bad batch of steering column extensions...
