Nemo,
I'm with you, I think it looks pretty sharp...and I'm not a Toyota fan. People should take it as a compliment that Toyota is copying Ford's great designs.

I just dislike the shape of the lights the most i think...too swept forward for the arch of the stepside. But i think they did it so they could use parts from the PT. Now i like the idea of the stepside, dont get me wrong there, really what i dislike is the lights swept shape. Ford's don't sweep that much, they look really good. Oh, well thats why we have opinions!

The lights are ugly IMO. I've seen the Tacoma with a similar bed that they "designed" (term used loosely), I think it looks awful.

Looks like Rice

Just my opinion, but the taillights look like they came off a Civic or similar car. One thing I have always liked about trucks is that they may do suttle changes year to year but they generally don't "play" with them to much except for a redesign every 5 or so years. I think this keeps resale up and lets me feel like I am not driving a fasion statement or yesterdays old clothes. Is a tailgate mounted rear spoiler an option?
