2" Leveling Springs for 2WD
Has anyone use a set of 2" leveling springs up front to raise the front end of your F150 2WD? If so, did it destroy the factor ride...by that I mean did it stiffen it up much? And if so, how bad this it affect the ride?
I am divide between going cheap (leveling springs) or putting out the bucks for a spindle lift kit. Two inches is all I really want in the front, but I don't want to sacifice ride quality for height.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

The ride quaility will suffer alot . You will probably have to buy upper c-arms to get correct alignment .I would suggest 3" lift spindles. Here is a link to get some

I have a brand new set of daystar 1.5 - 2" lift spacers for $50 if you are interested. These will get you 1.5 to 2" of lift using your original springs plus I have not heard of alignment problems with these

Captain_Nemo,
Thanks for the offer to buy your coil spacers--good price, but I am going to go with the spindles...specifically Pro Comp's. Looks like a lot of people have had success with Fab Tech, but I had a bad experience with one of their kits and I don't want to good back. Either way, I have to save my bucks for the purchase and install. This board has been great. It helps novice like myself to get all the information we need before spending the dollars. Take care.
