Lifting a 99 F150

I have a 99 F150 extended cab. I want to lift it about 4" The lift kit I'm looking at is the one made by SuperLift. Does anyone have any experience with this kit? Also, how much can I expect to pay for the kit? I am planning on doing the install myself.

I installed a Superlift lift kit in my truck and the hardest part I found was the torsion bar removal. I could not get them out of my lower A-arms. Which made things a little more hectic but not bad. I thought the instructions as well as the Haynes manual I had helped me to do the job easily. I did it all myself and was not in a hurry but it should be able to be done in a weekend easily. I believe I paid around $1300 for the kit that was 2 years ago.

Thumbs up

i just finished my 1999 screw superlift this past week!!
it was the 4-5 inch lift and it was pretty simple. as far as getting my torsion bars out of the a-frames, a simple air chisel pushed it right through in a few seconds!! i paid 1500.00 from a friend but i think it runs about 2000.00
