'01 lightning shocks???

My '01 SCREW is dropped on the 2/3 Hotchkis setup but the stock shocks are toast. I was told to try the new Bilstiens b/c they are made for the lowered lightnings. Any feedback on a GOOD shock to use?? TIA

Trevor

V'tech 4door,

The Bilstein Shocks used on the 01 Lightning should work great with your setup and they are very reasonable price wise to boot.

Note: If you buy them, be sure to order the nuts as well for they are not included with the shock.

I had a non-Bilstein equiped 99 Lightning and the shocks SUCKED. Upon trading to an 01 "L", the handling profile is much more tolerable, both putting around town and making all four tires sing in the corners.
