Cool White whiplash F150

I finally posted some pictures of my truck and was hoping to get some thoughts on what you think as well as some ideas for future modifications. So far, it has the following:

* Whiplash 10" color matched suspension lift including triple front shocks and rear traction bars.

* 3" Performance Accesories body lift.

*39.5x18" Boggers on 16.5x12" Weld Scorpio V's.

*K&N FIPK, Airaid Throttle body spacer, Bosch +4 Platinum plugs, Flowmaster exaust, 4:56 gears, and a Rockford Fosgate stereo system.

My future modifications include headers and a Snuglid. Any other ideas or info would be appreciated.

Thumbs up

This has got to be the best looking Whiplash'd F150 yet!

Got a question about the snug lid. Are you getting it to secure your bed?, Cuz nobody can see it and it will just make it a bear to wash your truck......

Question I have a question

This is for you guys running bias ply's. Are you getting a lot of vibration from your tires on the highway? I'm running 35" radials and they ride great. I want to go up to a 38.5 or 39.5 but I don't want to be shaken out of the truck. It's my daily driver and I'm going to be driving it for long distances every now and again. Let me know.

Is that the tripple shock hoop from Whiplash? I'm looking into that for the front of my truck. How does it mount? Do any mods have to be done the the lower control arm or anything for the top of the mount?

Bias ply tires

Bob,

As far as the Bias-ply tires go, they do vibrate quite a bit more. The boggers I have are the first set of bias-ply tires I have used so I don't know if other styles would be as bad. Mine run fine at freeway speeds, but seem to vibrate the most at about 45-50 MPH. Prior to the boggers, I was running on 38x15.50 Super Swamper radials. They did ride a bit smoother. Hope this helps

Bias Plys

They actually run fairly smooth on the highway (Thornbirds), considering the size. Mine "hum" at speeds over 50 mph or so. You only notice the steering wheel " wobble" in the morning, until after the "flat spots" warm up. Also, they, or at least mine were more difficult to balance. I've got an average of 16 ounces of balance weight per tire. And they are heavy, my wheel/tire combo weighs 125 lbs. I have an identical tire/wheel in the bed of the truck as a spare, and I hope I never have to change it alone.

Exclamation Another Nice Whiplashed Truck

I've got to say, the color matching looks great. That is one good looking truck. Mine is currently a salty white since it hasn't been washed in 3 months.

Keeping Whiplash alive on the East Coast,

triple shocks

Kelly,

To be honest, I had Whiplash 4x4 in Fresno put the lift kit on. I purchased the triple shock hoop from them as an additional option. In looking at it, it looks like the hoop itself is mounted straight through the frame. One shock rides in the stock location and the other two mount to a bracket attached to the top A-arm. I tried to attach a photograph showing the top portion. It might be a little too dark though. I'd suggest calling the whiplash suspension guys for more info. they can be reached at Insane Offroad, (559) 294-7370.

cheater

When did they start making tires taller and narrower and the rims also have the same problem. A little help from photo shop will make your tires like that when attempting to make your truck taller that it is.
