diff between hangers and shackles

ok im not sure what the diff. is, does anyone have a pic of the diff. or if you can explain what the diff is. thanks

To use the rear suspension of a late model F-150 as an example. The hanger is up front and is stationary. The shackle is at the rear of the leaf spring and it mounted in such a way as to allow the expansion of the length of the spring as it flexes.
