Well I just ordered an RCD Light Hoop...check it out.

Like a prerunner it bolts into the bumper, which is my only worry, but it looks good on these fords, so i think it should be cool looking...what do yall think...only $100. I did have to overnight it tho which cost be way too much, cause i'm taking the truck back up to school in a couple days...but anyways, let me know.

I'm not sure whether to mount the lights up or down...i'm thinkin down. but we'll see when i get it...what do yall think?

The lights would definitely look better on top.

I think that looks like a pretty cool way to mount lights. I just got a Westin Bull bar for Christmas to mount lights on. The only difference is my lights a flashing red lights. Just have a friend hold the light up to it. I also think the lights would look good up or down. What kind of lights are you going to get?

they actually dont make the stainless one yet, well, i take that back...they obviously make it...its brand new and hasnt been released yet. So i got the black one. I'm actually leaning towards lights facing down, but i think i'll probably hold em up to it once its on and then it'll be easier to tell. Any opinions...?

I would go 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. It can be done.

Or you could go 2 on the bottom and 2 in the grill. You need all the light you can get for those foggy or in your case the smoke off the plants days.

well its on...less than 24 hrs after i ordered if from california, the hoop is on my truck with 2 KC Daylighters...it looks reall ygood i must admit. I ended up mounting the lights up, but you have to see it to understand why...because of the design, which is like the first pic above, and the fact that it sits lower on the 97-98 than on the 99s like on that pic. Anyways, i'll just post a pic as soon as i can...i wasnt too sure i'd like it, but now i am glad i did. I got a lot of compliments at the trim shop about it...but anyways...thanks for the advice yall
