pictures of lowered truck

I am about to purchase a lowering kit for my 97 F150. I am looking at the Ford Motorsport 2/4 drop and the Western Chassis 3/4 drop. Do any of you have pictures of either of these drops so I can see the difference?

I went with Western Chassis 3-5 drop, lower control arms and springs up front. Follow the link for the pics

Both of those trucks look great!!! I found an old Truckin magazine that has a Nascar edition F150 with a Cobra motor stuffed in it. He used the motorsport lowering kit with 295/40/20 tires on it and it set lelvel. I am wanting a rake look so I am thinking of running a 255/60/17 on the front with a 275/60/17 on the rear. The 20" tire on the nascar truck is right in between the two sizes I am going to use. Since this is the case, I think I would get the rake look just with the 1" difference in overall tire diameter between my two sizes. What do you think? Do I need the 3/4 drop or will the 2/4 drop work?

Thumbs up

Western chassis makes a kit that can be adjusted from 3", 4" or 5 inches of drop in the rear, for the rake look you are after. The complete kit lowers the front 3" with drop A-arms, and 1" inch coils, and the rear with front hangers and adjustable shackles. It comes with axle shims, shorter bumpstops, and all the hardware according to this page. Scroll down to the 2/4 3/5 kit section. Have fun with the drop!!,,,,98
