And yes I believe a 36" tire will fit with the 4.5" body lift but I think your turning radius will be so limited that the vehicle won't really be able to be driven unless as I said earlier, if you had a greater different offset wheel.

I'm guessing your hitting the frame because of the factory off-set or lack of rather, where others have 16x10 589's with offsets.?

just a guess.....

thats what i'm thinkin husker...i'm not even close to the frame...but my 16x10 atlas' push those tires out quite a ways, so that's probably it...i can fit a 36x14.5 now, i've tried, but i can't turn but about 1/2 way. If i had a 4.5" body, i'm sure i could turn, but under compression it might be more of a problem. I think it would work fine tho...'specially since i have the torsion bars adjusted too quite a bit. But i'm gonna go the suspension lift route i think now...

im just going on what people with 7" of lift have told me about fitting 36x14.50's. Ive heard with even 7" of lift, at full turns and bumps or inclines, the wheels will rub, so with just a 4.5" body lift, Im sure they'd rub like hell on tight turns. Give me about a month and Ill give ya a definite answer on that.

You are right, they will, they do. If you are gonna do something, do it right. That is the saying, right? Wait for the suspension lift, then do the tires. One of the things I am against on F150's is tire cramming. People just don't wanna wait for the right stuff. I know lifts are not cheap, but to get the right set-up, it takes some time. I know, I waited 2 1/2 years for my lift.
