Question Trying to level...

I've recently put on 2" lowering shackles on my '97 ext. cab stepside. I forgot to measure before the drop, but right now the rear is still @1 1/4 " higher than the front. What's the next step? I don't want to end up with the rear lower than the front. My shackles are DJM and appear to be adjustable because of two sets of holes. Would using 2" drop hangers and changing the holes in the shackles be the right setup? I've still got factory wheels and factory size tires(255/70-16). Thanks for any advice.
