Torsion bars

What are the pros and cons of “cranking” your torsion bars/keys?? I’m trying to clear a set of 315/70R17s on my 2001 Lariat with a leveling kit. Help lol.

The pros are that you get a very small amount of front end lift.

The cons are a harsh ride and depending on the lift and vehicle a front end alignment.
