2003 4wd stabilizer bar link split

Hi all!
I have a heavy clunk sound from left front area. Also recently have felt a slight slip motion while in a curve, as if I hit a small patch of thin ice.
Upon inspection of suspenion/steering parts, I noticed the stabilizer bar link is split top to bottom. All bolts, etc are intact. The right side bar is also split, so i have nothing to compare it to. I'm assuming it's in need of replacement, but want to be sure before i spend the time doing it..
is this bar supposed to be solid or is it designed split??
Thanks!

The OEM may or may not be split, but the replacements I see are all solid. I think you need to keep looking for the source of the clunk unless the bushings on the link are trashed.

I think the clunk is coming from the lower ctrl arm, at least that's where I feel it the most. And given the age of the poor girl, I'd say it was prolly time for all the bushings to be replaced anyways!
but thank you for the reply. I couldn't find a replacement that wasn't solid either. Guess I just needed to make sure I still have a clue! Lol
thanks! And Merry Christmas!
