98 F-150 2WD 5.4,9.5" rear 3.55 gear.I installed 2" rear drop leaf shackles and was told that I did'nt need pinion correction shims. However looking at the u-joint I'm worried that I might have a problem down the road.Do I need to shim it or not? Can you turn the stock shims around and solve this?

 

Have Bel-Tech on my 2000 ext cab and didnt need any shims.

 

I had the same drop 2" and you do not need any shims. Only when you go 2-4 will you need shims.
