2001 4x4 SC correct bolt head position for upper control arms

changed the upper control arms a while back, did not pay attention to how the bolts came out. I think they are in there any ole way. installing some cam bolts now and I'm told there is a right and wrong way for the bolt heads to face. The cam bolts don't work if the head of the cam bolt faces the wrong way?

nut ---] [---nut bolt heads facing each other is the position the instructions show. my bolts heads face forward on both sides. thanks for your help
