I had a 4 inch lift and I didn't feel like it was high enough. So I cut the 4 inch strut Spacer in half and welded on 2 more inches. My control arms are almost hitting my strut. I've had it like that for probably 3 years and going to replace the struts with a whole 6 inch lift strut to remove the spacer and maybe add a 2.5-3 level kit on top. Of course if I do I'm sure the control arm will hit. Now I'm wondering if anybody knows, since they use the stock control arm, if I replace the 4" spindle with a 6" lift spindle I get the extra clearance I need. Is there a difference between a 4" and 6" lift kit spindle?
