I just got off the phone with a Tech. from Rancho Shocks. I asked him about the new shocks that Ford was putting on the 2002 ORP FX4 Trucks, he told me that this shock(ORP FX4) was a OEM Ford shock that was painted Red/White & maded to look like a Rancho shock, even with the red plastic boot. The shock really is just like it has always been just DRESSED UP!!!! It only has the Ford Warr. And that Rancho Series Shocks Aftermarket are by far much better!!!!Built to their own spec. Plus the RS1000 series Rancho`s are maded by MONROE. The RXS Rancho vs. Monroe Reflex are very much the same shock in different cases. Also both shock company`s are owned & operated by the same Corp. So I`ll probadly go with Monroe Reflex`s they cost less than the RXS Rancho, cause your getting the basic same shock. This all was told from a Rancho Tech.. So I hope no buys this FX4 ORP package thinking it better than before, because it not!!!!!!The names have been changed tro get you to buy it!!!!!!!!
