2013 F-150 2" Leveling Kit Issues

Ok, so I have finally gotten everything disconnected and the spacer connected to the top of the strut tower, but when I go to put it back in, it's about 2" too long. I had to pry it out the first time. I have tried spring compressor and no matter how much I tighten them the strut will not compress. Any ideas before I just give up?

No, directions and the videos I have watched said you didn't need to. Before I take off the lower arm, is there anyway to maybe push it down more without messing anything up?

The only way I've ever known is to take the lower control rear bolts out

you ever figure it out? i disconnected everything from the spindle like the tierod end sway bar end links and upper control arm then I used a pry bar to get it into the lower control arm. then used a jack to help compress the suspension back together and tighter the upper control arm to the spindle. hope this helps.
