3" level kits are not recommended. You'll be going through ball joints and cv's really often.

I wouldn't go any higher than a 2.5" if it never leaves pavement.

I have a 2012 f150. Installed a 3' leveling kit. I left the factory street tires on my truck which ran without any noise before kit was installed. Now I have the wa wa wa tire noise like I have mud terrains on it. two alignments later, same thing. Is the 1/2 inch difference in height from the 2.5 inch kit the cause? What can I do to get the geometry corrected to stop this affect?

Your ball joint, tie rod and cv angles are severe. You should go down to a 2" level. 2.5" would be the max if it never left smooth pavement.

Well that hurts. What is causing the tire sounding noise? Paying for another installation of another leveling kit or the bilstine 5100 is the dilemma. Thanks for the information.

Also wanted to ask, will a 34" or 35" tire change the geometry at all?

It won't change it enough to get those angles anywhere near where they need to be, unfortunately.
