Need help

I have 35"x12.5" tires on a Fuel Nutz D541 wheel with a +1 offset. There is a 2" spacer on the wheel. It is leveled and has air bags in the back.

I am looking for advice regarding a lift kit. Will a lift fix my issue? Everything I am reading says that the wheels and tires in that combination will still have issues with rubbing. I like the way it looks, but I am at a loss and don't want to spend any more without getting confirmation.

Need more information. Truck year, 4x4 or 4x2, and wheel width. And I'm guessing the issue is you have extreme rubbing?

2010 F150 Lariat 4x4, 20x9 wheels. The rubbing is so bad you can't even really turn the steering wheel at all.

Thanks!

Yea, I would say you'd have some pretty bad rubbing with that setup. With the spacer you're pretty much running a wheel with 3" of backspacing. A 6-8" lift will definitely help your problem, but you'll need to take the spacer off still. That spacer is going to end up wrecking wheel bearings and other components because of the super low backspacing it's creating.

Thanks

So basically I need to get rid of the wheels all together? The spacer can't go anywhere because it's an adapter and the bolt patterns are not the same.

Any other ideas? Lol

Then yea, I'd ditch the wheels all together. It'll prolong the life of suspension components, allow you to get the proper sized wheels to prevent rubbing, and it removes a point where something else can fail and drop a wheel off going down the road.

If you're deadset on keeping the wheels, you're definitely going to need to go with a 6-8" lift, probably the 8" and you'll still probably need to do some trimming on top of that unless you don't mind dropping tire size as well.
