Question Picture of 2WD with 265 Rubbers

Does anyone have pictures of a stock 2WD F150 with 265/70 or 75/16 wheels? Your pictures will help me to determine whether or not to install a body lift kit. Thanks.

Go bigger! I have a shot of stock with 265's in my gallery. 265's are way too small.

Unlifted, What's the largest?

I've had my truck a bit less than 2 weeks and would like to improve it's stance. It has 2WD, 5.4, auto, 3.55, with 235/70R16.

I've read that 265/75R16 are about as tall as one should go, If you want to still have some power for towing with the 3.55 gears.
-But, that's from 4x4 vehicles that have the clearance to fit the 265/75R16's.

I'd like to go to the 265/75 size without having to add a lift yet, if that could keep them from rubbing. I may do the spindle lift to make it work if I have to.

What would I need to do to correct the speedometer on my 01' if I did go larger? Is the computer program adjustment by the dealership I've heard about, tied in to correct speedometer display?

Any Pics of large tires on non-lifted 2WD's?..
Thanks in advance from myself, and a few others out here.
Tim

Nice pics, Thanks...
Any rubbing with the wheel turned all the way over?
What gears do you have?

Thanks for the compliment... There is no rubbing what so ever. I was a little worried about the rubbing issue before I purchased my current tires, but they don't rub at all. The 285's I'm betting could have fit under the truck with no problems at all because it is only a 2mm difference .
Here's my scenario:
235/75/16=ridiculous looking
265/75/16=no rubbing but still too much wheel well gap
285/75/16 with 3"body and 2"leveling kit=no rubbing at all
soon to be 315/70/16=hopefully no rubbing

I hope all this helps you in some way

I forgot to say I have 3.55 with the optional Limited slip. If I keep my current tires I need to change the gears to 3.73, but if I upgrade to the 315's I will surely need to go with the 4.10. The superchip I have helps a little but not enough
