So after test driving my lift, when I make a hard right turn in 4W Auto, 4x4high or low, there is a grinding popping sound coming from what seems like the passenger side, this does not happen in 2WD. What gives??

Were you testing your 4x4 on pavement? Because that's a big no no.. A CV going bad will click.

 

This. Even off pavement too sharp of turns can cause binding.
