4 inch lift kit - Best

Hey all this is my first post here and probably it has been discuss a lot and a lot but here my question...

Is there a compagny that make the 4 inch lift kit ( suspension ) that don't need to cut the front cross member. I prefer to don't cut anything on the truck cause I prefer to go on stock mode if I want to !

Thanks in advance ..

The Fabtech on my 2WD 06 only required minor grinding, no full on cutting. Ranchos are the "best" but require extensive cutting. Pro Comps for the 09+ 4x4s require cutting on I believe the LCAs, can't remember on what exactly though anymore . . . most lifts require you to cut SOMETHING. I know that Fabtechs for the 4x2 and 4x4 04-08s can be put back to stock though, so I assume the same for the 09-14s because they're largely the same.

But realistically, average install (and in this case un-install) costs are $800 and above for an IFS suspension, so once a lift is on the truck, it's cheaper to leave it there. Unless you're doing the work yourself.

They are! Good pricing when y'all do your $300 (or whatever it is) rebates, and that one-piece/connected subframe is definitely the best. Makes the front end so much tighter than stock. Plus it's the only kit that can accept stock wheels. If y'all still made lifts for the 04-08s (2WD), I'd have bought one for sure.

Same! I would love a Rancho 4" for 4x4

You could just install a 3 inch body lift.

Thank all for all your answers.

I forgot to mention that it was for a 2014 fx4, anyways i've search a lot and for now im stuck on the bds one for the warranty that replace any parts if they broke and the procomp for seeing it a lot on many pick up !

Thats a huge investment cause I need new tires and wheels in addition with the lift kit itself.

Thats why I prefer to take my time !
Well, if you guys have any advice again or something I need to know before swaping to the lift world it would be nice !

I'm also looking to a 6" instead of a 4" inch

How important is being able to go back to stock, given the things I stated?

If you get a Rancho, you only need new 35" tires. Then you can get wheels down the road if you want.

Definitely get a 6" if you're considering one or the other. If you get a 4", you'll regret it after a week. And everyone on here with a lift will tell you that haha. Mine's at 8" and I already want a 3" body lift to go with it.

I went with the 6" BDS kit and I love it. The warranty thing is what sold me on it.
