Shock part number cross reference

Ok guys, I have been under my truck trying to figure out what shocks I need for my fronts. I have an 05 f150 screw 4x4...the ONLY number I can find is 4L34-18A047-AC which is a part number for the dust cover. Is there anyway I can find out what shock absorber that boot goes to so I can cross reference it for an upgraded shock...Ill be going with rancho as I run the rs5000 series on the rear....thanks in advance.

Your truck has struts in the front. Here are the part numbers for the correct replacements from three manufacturers.

RS5767 Rancho

71361 Monroe

341602 KYB

What size lift? It will matter.

2005 F-150
0" RS5767
4" RS5769
If around 2.5" we offer the loaded strut RS999910QL
