Suspension question.

I have a 2007 supercrew lariat 4x4 that I want to lift.
Pretty sure that I'm going to go with the BDS 8" lift, because eventually I will want to go higher. (Maybe a body lift.)
The only problem with buying a BDS lift is that I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a suspension lift.. Anyone have any others they'd recommend?
Also. What do I need to do when I lift my truck that high.
Will the driveshaft need any modification?
I was told I would need to regear. Yukon 4.11's ? Or what do I need to get.
If I lifted 8" I'd probably go with 37" tires, but I'm not so sure on wheel size. I LOVE american force but that's just ridiculous to pay that much for wheels.

I'm not sure what gears are available but you'll want more than 4.11's, those are good for like 33's. 4.56's match well with 35's, and 4.88's with 37-38's. You'll also need a tuner to reprogram for the tire size and gear change.

With the BDS your only option to go bigger would be a body lift since it's essentially a 6" lift bumped up to an 8", unless you can find one of the rize lifts, but those are pretty hard to come by.

Since it's a 6" bumped to an 8" though, you could go with any 6" that provides the full 6" of drop down and bump it to an 8" via a leveling spacer or leveling coilovers depending on the lift, could be cheaper.

You shouldn't need to extend the driveshaft, but with every truck being slightly different you might not know until it's installed, since 8" is roughly about the limit.
