lowering questions

Hi im new to this forum. I recently picked up a 98 extended cab f150 with the 5.4.*I would like to do a 3/4 drop or possibly a 4/5. ive noticed the previous owners removed a leaf spring to lower the rear. Would I need to replace the leaf spring to do the drop? Which drop kit is a good one? I still wanna be able to haul some stuff with the drop (dirt bikes) can I with those drops? Which drop shocks should I get? Can I fit 22's without rubbing with the 4/5? Fyi this isnt a daily driver all I use it for is to haul my bike to the track or trails. Suspension is worn out its bouncy so I wanna start lowering it. I want to do the drop the right way I dont want to buy junk. Im not used to working on trucks I am mechanically inclined tho. Dont know what parts are good for trucks etc. Any help is appreciated.
