03 2wd leveling kit

I am a bit unsure about the leveling kit on the 2003 for f150 2wd's? If i get the coil spring spacer "1.5" am I going to need shock extensions? One of my co-workers was saying I would need them. But I couldnt find them any where. So the question is do i need them and if not why don't I? thank you everyone for your response.

Not for 1.5", I wouldn't worry about the shocks for anything under 2.5".

You don't need them cause the shocks have enough "play" for small changes, they're pretty versatile. For example, some replacement shocks for lifted trucks, such as Bilstein 5100s, are good for 4-6" of lift. I added 2" up front and out back on my 2wd and the shocks are fine, though mine is a 2006
