200k miles on 2005, replace lower ball joints, or everything?

I am in a spot where I am having some pretty good play in the lower ball joints. But was thinking while i have it apart to replace the upper control arm, lower ball joints and the outer tie rods.

I intend to only keep the truck for another year, maybe 2, I cant really tell if any of the other parts are worn out, it will cost another 200 just for parts to do the upper control arms, maybe another 100 for the tie rods.

Anything else? Inner tie rods and idler arms too? I think these dont really wear out.

Yes, I'd replace every part you just mentioned. If you don't do it now, you'll do it later. I'd also add shocks to the list.

Exactly what Wandell said, I did it to my 2004 at 160K just before I sold it... it made it much nicer to drive.

I did lower ball joints (upper ball joints/ control arms, one piece) outer tierod ends, shocks and new upper mounts for the shocks

I did shocks and springs all the way around last summer.

Ok, got quotes on service, will come out to about $500 just in service to do everything (upper control arm, lower ball joints and outer tie rods + alignment).

Parts... I priced moog and everything came out to $430, motorcraft was over $500.

Does anyone have any experience with MAC parts? I found they have a whole Upper Control arm, lower ball joint and all bushings kit for $130 + shipping. That's a hunk of change.

keep in mind I intend to keep the truck for only 2 more years, but I dont want parts that are gonna be flimsy or fall off the truck. Anyone have any direct experience with them? I am really hesitant to put this kind of money into the truck I am keeping at most for 2 more years.

If you are only going to keep the truck for another year or 2, I'd take it in to a shop for a free front end inspection and replace only what's necessary.
