Should i lift it

Ive got an 04 f150 heritage standard cab 5-speed and was wanting to lift it, its got a 4.2 in it and i was looking somewhere around 3-6 inches should i do it or keep it stock height and go from there

I vote for lifting it. Check out 4.2trimble's (I think that's his username) truck. Scope his older threads/pics.

If you can tie up the funds then go for it and do 6" lift it will be a minimum of 4 grand to do it properly though remember that.

Being a v6 would that make a difference in the lift and what all are you including when you say 4 grand is that gears as well.

4k would roughly be wheels, tires, lift, install labor, and alignment. Since your 4x4 gears would run you another 1300 or so.

Thanks Pizza! What he said ^ I did not do gears and I installed it all myself I'm guessing it would have been about a grand + more if I had it all installed.
