Leveling Kit

I have a 2011 Crew Cab ecoboost and I want to put a leveling kit on it. My question is are there things that I need to watch out for because I found some on ebay for around $50 but on the other hand there are some that are much more expencive than that which makes me think. Is it quality or is it name brand?

This is a link to one that I found on ebay.

They look good to me. At my dealership we were using ready-lift spacers, gave a set to a machine shop and they can make them for half the cost out of billet aluminum.

Link doesn't work for me, but I'm going to assume they are aluminum. Aluminum is not a good enough material; it warps and can fail. Brand does factor into cost, but material is the most important thing. Buy a steel one from Auto Spring, they're on eBay as well and for about $80. Very well made kit with a unique offset design that's better than even the big name guys. A lot of people on here run them, I've got one on my truck.

There are others for around the same cost, it's really just who you want to go with. But absolutely get steel, nothing else. Stay away from polyurethane and aluminum

I've had an Auto Spring on my truck for years now. I would recommend them. It's steel, has an offset design, and comes powdercoated. Not bad for $80.

If it's steel, it's probably fine. But go with Autospring because they're tried and true and still cheap. No point in putting a potentially subpar component on your $35k truck to save $15

I had an AS on mine for years and loved them. Got rid of them due to the lift. When I took them out they were a little surface rusty but were still great.

I could sell them to you if you would like they were from my 07 4wd F150. I'll never use them again. PM me if interested and I'll dig them out and get some pictures for you.

Sounds good! not sure what they had that was $150 though. Maybe rear blocks, that's what mine cost
