rear leaf spring bushings

Does anybody out there have problems with there rear leaf spring bushings walking out of the front eyelet of the leaf springs. The bushing is sticking out of the spring about 1/4 in. cracked and getting worse, now the spring is rubbing against the mount making a poping noise when turning or certain twists. The problem is it's just a rubber bushing and a sleeve for the bolt, so it is eventually going to walk out of the eyelet. Most bushing are enclosed in metal then the rubber and the sleeve in the middle these are not. No body makes a poly bush. for these yet anybody having these problems but me. I'm a mechanic by trade and half of the newer f -150 that I see have these problem starting to occur. dan
