2003 front end shock help please
I recently went to change my tires and realized that something crazy happened to my shocks, and basically i need to get new ones, but i dont know the exact height of the lift i know it is 4-6" but not sure how exactly can i tell what is the exact lift height and what are good shocks to get for a 2003 2wd f150 these were procomp es9000 and the ride was pretty stiff
i appreciate any help

Also my truck has had a rattling sound from the front end when i hit short small bumps it is really annoying im assuming this is the cause, could it be??
Im going to try to get new shocks this weekend could this have messed up the coils too???

Pics don't work so we can't see the pictures to understand what your talking about. As for shocks if es9000's are too stiff almost every other shock is going to be overly stiff to you. I switched from bilstein 5100's to the 9000s and the ride a lot softer to me than the 5100s did.
Also can't tell you how much lift you have without pictures. Tire size can also help us guess the amount of lift.

As for that rattling sound, check your sway bar end links or disc brake pads. My end links degraded on my truck somewhere around the 200,000 miles mark. I began noticing a jingling almost bell sound every time my truck went over a bump. I checked for this sound when applying the brakes and it remained. So I knew it wasn't the pads rattling in the caliper.
When I checked them, most of the rubber and both those plastic spacers were gone. I replaced them with Energy Suspension units.
