2" level feels like a waste
oh ok. So just for the sake of gaining information, how does the spacer 1"=2"? Second, they make 2" body lifts but do you know if they have the rear bumper brackets, having a gap in the back would look trashey imo.
1 to 2" sounds about right. Most 2" body lifts don't come with brackets for the front or the rear. I'd go with the 3" Performance Accessories kit, it'll come with both brackets, they have pretty good instructions and later on you'll wish you got that extra inch anyways.
true. and i know you're probably tire of me asking questions, but i have one more haha. If body lifts are pains in the butt, then would it be outlandish to put the 3" spindle lift on the front, with the spacer? does that create bad angles? honestly, even though i dont like how the spindles make the tire stick out, i'd rather lift it using suspension instead of a body lift.
ok thanks. I just wanted to make sure that was safe to do combining the spindle and spacer together. most likely thats what i'll do, cause in the near future i'm gonna need new lower ball joints so might as well change to a lift spindle. Thanks again for all the help.
Why? I'm guessing since he added a leveling kit, lowering is the complete opposite of what he wants to do. And lowering kits still cost money too..
Coil spacers boy have i had my share with them. First of all none measure to the size they are listed as. They say if you get a 1'' spacer it will give you 2'' of lift. Well that was never true with my lift. I needed some that actually measured 3'' to get 3''.
So you may be having that issue to. If you by a 3 incher you will be getting a 2 incher which will get u 2'' of lift. You wont need after market arms. But you would with a true 3'' spacer.

It sounds like he got 2" of lift considering he's only a 1/2" shy of being level. Dependent on truck it takes about 2-2.5" to level them. And by what your saying his should've only given him 1" of lift which it didn't.
He said it did nothing. So i figure it did give him an inch since that would not be noticeable any way. He got a 2'' spacer but it only measures an inch which gave him an inch. All the BS about getting a 2'' and it giving you 3'' or getting a 1'' and it giving you 2'' is non sense. Atleast in all my doings (for lack of better words)

I may be a tad late here, but are the spacers you ordered universal? If so that could be why you aren't getting the correct amount of lift. How high up did it actually bring the truck? When I put on my 1.5" Daystar it actually leveled the truck out completely. I realize that all trucks sit a tad different, but I am having trouble figuring out how a 2" if it is a true 2" level didn't at least come close to leveling it. All of the trucks I've seen with leveling springs, which are a true 2" seem to me to sit a hair nose high.
