how big is the factory block on 2008 4x4

I have. 08 xlt 4x4 and it came with a bigger block from previous owner.. What's the factory size rear blocks in these trucks? Ill be getting a 4inch lift soon and want to level it out but the kit stacks blocks with the factoryy blocks.. I'd rather just buy solid ones just needd to know wat size! Thanks

I'm sorry but y'all are wrong. The rear 4x4 block on the 04-08 F150 is 2". The rear block on the 09-13 F-150 is 1.25".

Hmmm... I did some further checking and spoke with a Tech @ Pro-Comp this morning and he again confirmed that the 04-08 F150 used a 1" block w/ears and an FX2 used a 2" block. Sorry for the misinformation #08blackxlt.

I just bought 08 4X4 blocks from Ford less than 2 months ago. They are 2" not 1". I bought them to replace the 1.25" block on a 2013 4X4.

So again the 04-08 4X4 rear blocks are 2" and the 09-13 are 1.25"!

FORD PART NUMBERS.
*2004-2008 F-150 4X4 2” U-Bolts – 4L3Z-5705-GA
*2004-2008 F-150 4X4 U-Bolt Nuts – W520215-S441
*2004-2008 F-150 4X4 2” Block – 6L3Z-5729-A

Yeah 2" would make more sense for sure as the 4" lift kit I just bought said to stack their 2" blocks with my factoryy ones and that would pretty much level it out. Aawesome. Thanks guys. I went and got some 4" blocks to replace the current 3" ones and the truck should sit damn near level when the lift is on! Will post pics when its installed thanks
