97 torsion bars seized

97 torsion bars seized

My torsion bars are seized I bought lift/leveling keys, but the bars are seized tight and will not anything I can do to free em up? also while I'm at it I wanna get new shocks, any recommendations?

First thing...you should have done some homework. You do not need new keys for these trucks. Any lift beyond what you can get from the stock keys will cause nothing but headache and an empty wallet. One of, if not THE, worst thing you can do to your truck. Do not use them.

Yup need to do your research, you don't need aftermarket keys, and you don't need aftermarket shocks with a torsion crank.

Well they were gifted to me, haha and I know I don't need aftermarket shocks, but mine are done, thanks though guys, you were a huge help, I'm 17 y/o still learning.

For shocks bilsteins are always a good choice if they fit your budget if you want that offroad feel.

For the keys, ditch those aftermarket ones in the trash, or the less nice thing and give/sell them to someone else, and just crank up the factory ones and get an alignment.
