Leveling kit

I recently bought a 2005 F150 FX4 and I want to level it and want to put bigger tires and eventually aftermarket rims on it. Just wondering if I should go with a 2 or 2.5 level in the front or a 3" with a 1" block in the rear. I would most likely go with 285/70/18 tires as the 33X12.5X18 might take gas mileage down too much. Does anyone have any pics?

If you want it level go with a 2.5" up front. 3" kits are horrible for the front suspension.

285/70 is a taller tire than a 33, so that could take your gas mileage down even more. i ran 33s then switch to 275/70 which is like a 33.2 or something and saw similar mileage. just a heads up
