New struts

I just installed new a set of new struts for my 04 f150. I have the 2.5" hellbent on the spring before and after. With the new struts installed the front end is somehow an inch lower. Wouldn't the truck be higher not lower with new struts

Or the coilover shocks you installed have adjustable spring perches and you installed the coilsprings with less preload than the OEM shocks.
