leveling kit for my 11 FX4

Hey guys, picked up my 2011 FX4 this weekend and I want to level it. I was told that Daystar is my best choice but I wanted to get some feedback from you guys.

Autospring makes a good kit and I think it's the cheapest. Did you wanna go with a spacer or replacement coilovers?

I've had my 2" HBS on for almost a month now. No problems. 89 bucks shipped to my door.

2-inch Daystar on my 2011 XLT:

2-inch Zone on my 2013 FX4:

Both are good systems but the Zone has the better polyphthalamide material which is tougher than the polyurethane systems like Daystar since polyphthalamide is more resistant to heat and has more compressive strength. But I have run the Daystar leveling system on a number of my trucks and never had any issues.

I did AS 2" on the front of my 2013 FX4 but the longer I looked at it the more dissatisfied I became. Sometimes when parked it looked nose high and when driving it appeared that way too. So to remedy that I replaced the rear 1.25" blocks with 2" blocks and it sits perfect now, up with a slight rake so no bed loads make it sit down.

Desert Dawg,

What brand and size are those on your 2013 FX4? That truck looks great.
I am a new member and am looking to level mine and upgrade the tires.

Thanks

So I just Installed the 2" Level Kit on mine, Same as last post looks like the front is up just a bit more then the rear, Are most of you adding the Block in the back and will that help with sag when towing a trailer, Or are airbags a better idea,

Airbags would be best but also more expensive

Looks good. Are you decided to add air bags for the rear?

I'm going to hook up my boat this weekend and see how much if any it sags, I priced Airbags at my local Tire store and they said somewhere around 400.00 installed, Never had them before not sure if that is a good price or not, Name: IMG_4245_zps3c516fa2.jpg

A 2.5-3" block to replace the factory one is the cheapest way to go (takes 30 minutes to swap them out), then short add-a-leaf, then long add-a-leaf, THEN airbags.
