2" HBS leveling kit

Hey guys I'm thinking about getting the 2" HBS (Hell Bent Steel) leveling kit for my 2010 FX2. My only concern is the long time effect it will have on the front end components, (control arms, ball joints) am I worried for no reason staying with the 2" kit? I know some guys on here have had trouble with kits 2.5" or 3". Any advice would be appreciated guys.

Well, my take on it will be a little different since I have an '05, but my leveling kit is from HBS so i figured I'd give you my experience just in case it could be helpful. I've got the 2.5" kit and have had it for almost 2 years now and haven't had any front end problems while it's been on. I work at a shop and had our alignment guy check it out the other day and he said everything was still looking great. Like I said, being a different year model, this may or may not help you out. Hopefully it was just a little helpful. I think you'll be fine. However, I think that some of the adjustable front struts like the Bilsteins or the Ranchos pretty much rule out having any problems like that. So if you're that nervous about it you could look into them. Anyway, just my 2 cents.

Thx for the advice bro. I'm going to get it ordered today. My last Screw was dropped 2/4 and didn't have to replace anything on it until around 160K. So I think I'll be alright.
