If you have a 4x4, stay far, far away from "leveling kits". All they are is reindexed torsion bar adjustment keys. THey allow you to put way too much preload on the torsion bars which will destroy your ride quality and leave your CV and ball joints at such a severe angle they won't last. Just crank up the preload with your stock keys enough to level the truck. If you want a little more lift, you can add a 3 inch body lift.
If you have a 4x2, you can add 2 inch Daystar coilspring spacers inexpensively. 2 inches is as high as you can go on the 4x2's with spacers or lift springs without needing longer upper control arms.

Yes, the 1.5 inch spacers/leveling kit will work. Your wheels have no affect on what leveling kit you use. Anytime you lift the front end, the ball joint angles will increase which in turn increases the rate of wear. How much is a matter of debate. But most people agree that 2 inches or less does not increase wear and tear significantly.
