I have a 2002 ford f150 supercrew 2wd and every time i hit a bump in the road it makes this clunking noise or like a metal to metal noise and i dont know what it is or what causes it. Im not sure if it is the shocks or not.

 

Broken sway bar end links? They tend to break off inside the sleeve.

 

so do i have to get new sway bars?

 

Just the end links, like 12 bucks for a set. You can check them if you have a socket set by just unbolting them.
