coil spring spacers for 97-03 f150 2wd
 

my question is i see them on ebay in 1" / 2"/2.5"/&3" is the 2" too much too add to my 6.5 spring tech lift? im also adding a 3" body lift & 2-3" add a leafs. i just have no clue on how bad those spacers are and what they will do to my ball joints and ability to align the front end. thanks in advance goal is not to rub my freshly painted piaa valance with 37 - 13.50 - 20 mud grapplers of toyo open country m/t's

the springtech lift already has 3" lift coils so you can't add to it

man thats a bummer. dont know if i can clear the 37's then with out buyin new rims with less off set but i really like the lip on them. i have the 3" body already just dont want to trim the piaa valance. it was hard to squeeze those leaf coils in so i can see where u could be right. man im bummed.

did it come with the springtech upper A arm? since 2" is all you really want to go that extra 1" needs that upper A arm

yea it came with the tubular uca's. 3" lift springs and 3.5 " lift spindles.

I'd stick with around 1.5" but you could probably get a 2" in there not sure on ride quality or how long ball joints will last but it's not your dd either haha. Hit up Buxton I'm pretty sure he added one to his kit.

From what I've seen, you can run a 2". The springtech UCA's bring the upper angles back to factory, so it would be like adding a 2" level to a stock truck. You might not have perfect angles, but it will still be decent. The springtech UCA's actually caused my truck to have some slight positive camber (more lift was needed to properly align), so when I actually do get around to finally doing this I'm going to run 2" spacers over the 1.5" because of that.

Deno did this to his old truck, you might want to ask him.

alright im gonna try the 2" my angles are off too buxton i never thought about that fixing the angles. . i think im gonna go for it the worse case scenario is i need to take em back out. . lol wit everything ill be running 11.5" of lift! lmao

I added 2" spacers on my fabtech 7.5, angles are good, but the angle on the balljoint between tierods and centerlink it pretty steep, when I turn it hits the frame and sounds horrible, its not a big problem but I hate it.

can you post some pictures of your angles blue?

I'd reccommend not doing it and sticking with what you got. Your never going to get the alignment right and front end components go out very fast.
