Help!

Okay. I have a 2005 XL f150 2WD. I want to lift it a little (2-4in) but I don't know a lot about lifts. I want a suspension lift, but what kind do I need? If anyone could help me I would be so greatful! Thanks(:

You can do a leveling kit or leveling struts to get up to 2.5" which will allow for a 33" tire at the most depending on tire width, tread, and wheel width and offset. For 4" you would need a full suspension lift which again most likely you'll be limited to a 33" with the exception of a narrow/not too aggressive 35" tire on the right wheel and probably some trimming.

Step 1) Get a username that is not "kittycat". Disregard if you are a female.

Step 2) Re-read what Pizzaman said. You can fit 35's on a 4" lift, I'm not sure who offers one for a 2wd though. To fit 35's on 4" lift you'd need use of stock wheels or wheels with the similar specs as stock.

With 4x2's, you have a huge jump in lift height and price between your suspension lift options. You can do a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit for less than $100 but the next jump is to a 6 inch suspension lift for over $1000.

Well I think I have decided to either do a leveling kit like wandell said. Or to do a body lift. Not totally sure yet

This is my 2wd when I had a leveling kit on it. I had 265/70/17 tires on as well. Plenty of space for 33's. To fit 35's you'd need a body lift as well. I just recently put a 6" and 35's though.

Do a level before a body lift, it's cheaper and it gets the truck level. a lifted truck with an *** end sitting 2" high doesn't look right.
